Restoring Balance & Harmony – Managing Stress, Anxiety & Depression for a More Effective Life
Any feelings such as stress, depression, or anxiety are a natural part of everyday life and under certain circumstances, can be useful to help us to manage life by showing us where and when we are off-balance and by giving us the motivation to change or move forward. Emotions are the body’s guidance system, letting us know where we are heading or if we are ‘off course’. They only become a problem to us if we do not understand what is happening, why it is happening, or do not have the tools to cope with managing the feelings themselves. If we become over-whelmed by our emotions, we can become fearful, anxious, feel out of control, angry and/or depressed (depression is caused by suppressed anger we do not feel entitled to feel) and our lives can become affected in all sorts of ways.
However, there are many ways to help you cope, from the conventional medical approach, counselling, and exercise, to a wide range of natural healing therapies and practices such as the ones offered at UNITY in Whitley Bay.
At UNITY, we take a ‘whole-being’ approach and offer a range of therapies and practices that work well on their own or in conjunction with more traditional treatments. When unwanted feelings take over and get in the way of a life well-lived, regaining control is easier said than done. But what if you could stop for one moment, unravel that knot of distress, stretch it out and examine it to see exactly how you experience a difficult emotion, and then how you might do it in a way that is better for you. We do have the internal resources to do this. An experienced NLP coach will help you gain perspective and hypnotherapy enables you to access all your personal resources making that difference to your life.
